We would be happy to give you a quote in person (Contact Us) or you can email 3 measurements, 3 pictures (see instructions below), and your home address to savagewindowwells@gmail.com and we will email you an estimate. If you decide you are interested in having us do your work, we will come and look at your job to finalize your quote before beginning work.

How To Measure Your Well

  • Width: Measure from the inside of the existing well*, do not include the flanges.

  • Projection: Measure from the foundation to the farthest point out into the yard (usually 24″or 36″).

  • Depth: Measure from the top of the well to the bottom window sill. We will quote your new well 10-12″ deeper than your window.

* We will quote your new well wide enough to not touch the sides of your window buck (electrolysis).

Email or text us 3 pictures

  •  Looking Down: take a picture looking straight down into the window well.

  • Front View: take a picture of the front of the window well – wide enough to see any close obstacles such as AC units, sewer clean outs, and cement pads. We also need to see enough above the well to see if there are overhangs or obstacles.

  • Overall Landscape: this picture needs to be wide enough for us to give us clues as to if the ground is sufficiently sloped away from your window wells to allow for proper drainage. See our post: Correct Window Well Height.

NOTES

  • We will only provide e-mail estimates for people within our Utah working area (Davis, Weber, and parts of Box Elder and Morgan County.)

  • If you are interested in an estimate for grates and ladders, we only need the width and projection measurements and one front view picture. Grates/Ladders

  • We do not replace window wells that are more than 60″ deep. We recommend you find a company with a small backhoe to do wells this deep. Call us with any questions regarding deep wells (we do all our replacements by hand digging.)

  • Remember that window wells do not solve water problems. They are only meant to hold back dirt. If you have water coming towards your new window well, you will flood.
