Grates and Ladders

The Safety Grates and Ladders offered by Savage Window Wells are manufactured by Boman & Kemp. Grates are offered in a Bar Grate and a Diamond Grate (Expanded Metal) model. Bar Grates are strong and rigid. If you stand on your grates from time to time, we recommend going with the Bar Grates, though no grates are recommended for regular foot traffic. The Diamond Grates are good for keeping debris, leaves, and animals out of window wells but are less rigid. Both grates are engineered to handle up to 600 pounds.
